It took us a little bit to hear back from Blaze regarding our job to repair mortar on our brick home. It was clear when we did hear back that that was because he is very in-demand in the area, and we quickly saw why. He did thorough, quality work and was a pleasure to work with. Other masons responded more quickly but quoted at least 50% higher for the same job. Highly recommend.

After conducting an Internet search and based on the published profile, experience and reviews I read, I hired Sherman's Masonry to re-grout our front steps. That's how I met Blaze, the son of the founder of Sherman's. I enjoyed meeting Blaze, he was easy going and did a first-rate professional job. I am happy to recommend Sherman's and will call upon them again if the need arises.

Blaze is probably the best brick mason in the whole GA!! I have this 90 years old house which I treasure so much especially the original bricks walls, so for a long time I was hesitant to invite any one here to repoint the bricks as I'm worried they might destroy it one way or another, until I met Blaze. ChatGPT recommended him so I guess it's for a reason. He spent the whole day literally from dawn to dusk fixing every cracks on the walls, applying new mortars and perfectly blend it with rest of the house. Now my house is back to her glory thanks to his amazing work. This level of craftsmanship is seriously unparalleled. I will definitely ask him if I have other masonry jobs in the future!!

After finishing up a large renovation project, we needed to hire someone to build a patio area in a difficult configuration. Our first quote left us puzzled as the person who came out seemed to randomly toss out an estimate that made little sense. When we saw the reviews for Sherman Masonry, we called and Rick came out promptly. He looked at the challenge, took a few days to figure out grading and drains, then gave us three options for materials, varying in price. Having dealt with multiple renovation issues, we were beyond pleased that Rick's crew began each day at 9:00, were pleasant and professional, kept the yard clean each day as they worked, and upon completion, blew and scrubbed the patio, then put out pine straw where dirt remained. They then went above and beyond by repairing two areas; front steps & fence gate at no cost to us that were damaged during the earlier home construction crews.

The brickwork on the front stoop was in desperate need of repointing and the curbing along the front walk had crumbled (both were very old). Blaze did the work and I couldn't be more pleased. His attention to detail took the job to the next level.

Blaze did an excellent job repairing my stone steps! He is prompt and pleasant to work with. The steps look great, and the price was reasonable.

Blaze rebuilt a brick light column at the front of our driveway which was tilted from a tree root. He also tuck pointed some loose brick around our house and our stone foundation, catching spots we hadn't noticed. He had a reasonable price, was able to get the work done quickly, and was so helpful repairing some brickwork after we had electricians doing some work outside. He was fantastic to work with and we can't recommend him enough!

Sherman Masonry did an outstanding job for us and I highly recommend them! The work consisted of some masonry repairs and stone edging on one side of our property. Blaze did the work and had unique ideas about the design of the stone edging. We chose to follow his advice and the results exceeded our expectations.

Blaze provided great service for my brick ranch home exterior.

The grout on my exterior wall needed some help, there were some cracks from house settling over the decades, and repairs from previous owner's overzealous DIY caulk gun use, as well as some holes in the foundation stonework. Blaze showed up at the scheduled time and got to work after a walkthrough of the work to be done. He is fast, thorough and professional. The grout repair is a great match for the old grout, it really looks nice.

Sherman's Masonry partially re-pointed a hefty stone wall at the base of my driveway. Blaze was great to work with. He honestly assessed what was needed, and we set a date to complete the work. He arrived on schedule and finished the job in short order. I am VERY pleased with the quality of his work. The work area was left in great condition; no additional clean-up needed. It is also noteworthy that the final charge was less than the estimate given the job went faster than expected, another plus for both honesty and professionalism. Sherman's will be my first choice for future professional masonry work.

Called two companies prior to Sherman's & was sent to an answering service. Called Sherman's & Rick answered the phone & was able to come out same day to look at brick work that needing repointing.
He was super nice as well as knowledgeable of what was needed to repair.
Gave me an estimate on the spot & was able to have work completed the following week. His team team did an incredible job & were very thorough. Everything looks perfect!

We called Sherman's Masonry to get a quote for a new patio and outdoor fireplace. Rick was competitively priced, and he also brought a lot of knowledge to the table. He turned our plans into more than we could have imagined. Everyone on the job sight was friendly and professional which is a big plus when you've got people working in your back yard. They did an exceptional job and did it fast. By far the best experience we have ever had with a contractor!!

I recently contacted Sherman's Masonry regarding a small tuck pointing project. Blaze was super responsive with a quote and was able to complete the job a couple of days later. I was impressed with the quality of work on the day of the job, but it wasn't until I painted over the new mortar a couple of weeks later that I truly comprehended the improvements. We purchased an older house this past spring, which had a structural repair performed to support the sagging garage slab. We hired Sherman's Masonry to pour a new slab to divert the water that was causing the initial issue with the slab. They came highly recommended by the engineering firm that made the first repair, and we can see why. All the crew members were complete professionals. The demo team was incredible in their speed and ability to get things ready for the concrete truck, and the guys who worked the cement after pouring were expert at their craft.
